Seller is offering $15,000 toward an interest rate buydown with a full price offer. Most mornings the deer drift up out of the trees at the end of Baltray Place, and the kitchen window is the first to see them. This 2,210 square foot two-story in McCormick Woods sits at the close of a dead-end cul-de-sac in Port Orchard, built in 2000 on a level, wooded 0.23-acre lot and wrapped in cement plank siding. Step inside and the ceilings lift, vaulted and full of soft Northwest light. A formal living room and separate dining room hold the front of the house for long suppers and slower conversations. Further in, the kitchen, with a counter that collects whoever wanders by, opens to an eating nook and a great room where a gas fireplace takes the chill off an October evening. French doors lead out to the deck and patio, a private backyard framed in evergreens with a territorial view through the branches. Upstairs, all four bedrooms share the floor, including a primary suite with its own bath, and the laundry room is right there so the weekly loads never touch the stairs. Hardwood floors, 2.5 baths, natural gas forced-air heat, city water and sewer, and a 2-car attached garage carry the practical side. Beyond the front door, the neighborhood keeps its own easy rhythm with a golf course, clubhouse, and athletic courts, while Highway 16 is a short drive for the run to Gig Harbor, Tacoma, or the Bremerton ferry. The trees are already filling with light. Come watch the morning arrive.
